A Year of Thoughts is the culmination of 40 years of notes and passages by Kama Jongerius, Dave Kool and Dave Sieplinga, in the form of a daily email to your inbox.
Preface
Over the years we have compiled a number of thoughts that have been helpful, challenging, inspirational, provocative, or fun.
Some we have not looked at for years others we have pulled out on a fairly regular basis.
We will confess that we have not read all the books they come from but often found them in devotionals or articles.
The quotes stand alone and do not follow the liturgical calendar but there may be some clumping for the season.
While most come from a Christian perspective we’re hoping the wisdom reaches to all and you perhaps may take a second look at the Christian faith if you are not currently connected.
We have tried to update some language which is either no longer used or sexist.
Source references are inconsistent but that’s what you get from 40 years of notes.
Please forgive typos and other errors.
